This trek is the second most popular trek we offer. If you want to do the Classic Inca Trail, but do not have the time to spend 4 days for it, this is the other choice. Because of the popularity of the Classic Inca Trails, we want you to know that booking far in advance is necessary, certainly in the high-season which lasts from May to December.

Program

1st Day - Cisco / Km 104 / Wiñayhuayna

Transfer from the hotel to the train station with direction KM 104, the beginning of the Inca trail. Through this Inca Trail connection we will, with the help of the professional guide, get a better understanding of the archeological remains of Chachabamba (2270m / 7448f) and for a short moment we will go up to the highest part of this connection where Wiñayhuayna (2650m / 8694f) is situated.

This is the most important archeological site within the park of Machupicchu. The Inca Trail continues to la Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku, the observation point of all this natural charm, the sanctuary of Machu Picchu (2400m / 7874f). We will be in the Machu Picchu Park only for a short time, because we have to continue to the village of Machu Picchu, the place where we will spend the night in a hotel and some time to enjoy Las Aguas Calientes in the village.
Hiking time 06 hours.
Included is a lunch box and dinner. 

2nd Day - Machu Picchu pueblo(Aguas Calientes) / Santuario de Machu Picchu / Cusco

Around 6 am we will leave with a professional guide in a tourist bus and we will head to the archeological centre of Machu Picchu, the place where we will get to know more about the Empire of the Incas.
This presentation of Machu Picchu will take place as early as possible in order to give the visitors some free time to enjoy and explore the place. After that we will get together with the group in the village of Machu Picchu and take the train to the city of Cusco.
Included is breakfast.
What needs to bring:
Extra money, rain poncho, mosquito repellent, sun block, clean T-shirt, jacket, some snacks, sweater, short pants.

Conditions:

  1. All participants will have to carry their own back packs.
  2. X-treme Tourbulencia states that no refunds will be given if a participant decides to cancel the trip prior to departure or during the trip (except from the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu and the train tickets from Aguas Calientes to Cusco).
  3. A participant must declare if he/she has any sickness or medical disorder and must bring his/her own medicines.
  4. X-treme Tourbulencia can not be held responsible for natural problems (for instance a land slide) or other problems not due to X-treme Tourbulencia (for instance late train departure).
  5. All participants must bring their own passport and, if applicable, their student card ´ISIC´.
