Day 2: Cusco - Sacred Valley (Pisac, Ollantaytambo)

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:30, then we will take the road to the Sacred Valley in a car private agency. We will first visit the village of Pisac, famous for its craft market and we will climb to the archaeological site overlooking the village. We will then take the road to the village of Ollantaytambo, during which we can admire the beautiful landscapes of mountains and snow-capped peaks. We will stop at the village of Urubamba for lunch in a traditional restaurant. Once arrived, we will visit the village of Ollantaytambo, which is considered the last Inca village thanks to its houses and narrow streets, remains of Inca constructions, as well as the archaeological complex. After the visit, we will accompany you to your hotel (Rio Sagrado or Tambo del Inka).

Day 3: Sacred Valley (Maras, Moray, Salineras)

After breakfast, we will head towards the ranch to discover the fabulous world of Paso Peruvian horses, the sweetest saddle horses in the world. We will begin our horseback ride through the Salineras de Maras, where salt has been mined since the time of the Incas. We will continue to the village of Maras, where we will have our delicious camping lunch. We will then visit the archaeological site of Moray, a real agricultural laboratory Inca, then we will return to the ranch around 17h. You will then be accompanied to your hotel, where you can relax in the spa and massage parlor.

Options: If you do not want to do the activity with horses, we offer an alternative by car to visit Salineras, Maras and Moray. Another activity is possible: visit a local community, Huilloc.

Day 4: Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early in the morning you will take the hotel train to the village of Aguas Calientes. The guide will meet you at the station to take you to Machu Picchu. There, our guide will take you to visit the archaeological site, for about 2 hours, to learn more about the daily life and culture of the Incas. After the guided tour, the guide will explain to you what time you will have to go back to Aguas Calientes, in order to be on time at the station. You will have free time to explore Machu Picchu in every corner and for those looking for the best views of the site, we offer the opportunity to climb to Huayna Picchu. It takes about 2 hours to get on and off. However, the reservation must be made in advance as the number of entry to Huayna Picchu is limited. The return will be by train to Ollantaytambo station, where the bus of the agency will wait for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
